Eli Apps ("we," "us," or "our") operates software-as-a-service products and related websites (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our Services.

By accessing or using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our practices, please do not use our Services.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal information:

Account Information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored in hashed form). You may also provide a company name, job title, or profile photo.

Billing and Payment Data. When you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment processor Stripe collects your credit card number, billing address, and related payment details on our behalf. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers. We receive a tokenized reference and basic transaction records (amount, date, subscription status) from Stripe.

Usage Data and Analytics. We automatically collect information about how you interact with our Services, including pages visited, features used, session duration, clicks, and in-app actions. We use Google Analytics to help us understand aggregate usage patterns. Google Analytics may collect your IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers through cookies and similar technologies.

Third-Party Integration Data. If you connect third-party services to your Eli Apps account (for example, importing data from external tools or enabling integrations), we may receive information from those services as authorized by you. The data we receive depends on the permissions you grant and the third party's own policies.

Communications. If you contact us via email or in-app support, we collect the content of your messages, your email address, and any attachments you provide.

Log and Device Data. Our servers automatically record information such as your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, and timestamps of requests.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To provide, maintain, and improve our Services
• To process transactions and manage your subscription
• To send transactional communications (e.g., receipts, account alerts, security notices)
• To send marketing communications, where you have opted in (you may opt out at any time)
• To analyze usage trends and improve user experience
• To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues
• To comply with legal obligations

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with the following categories of third parties:

• Payment Processor (Stripe). We share billing information with Stripe to process payments. Stripe's use of your data is governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy.
• Analytics Provider (Google Analytics). We use Google Analytics to collect and analyze usage data. Google's use of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. You may opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
• Infrastructure and Hosting Providers. We use cloud hosting services to store and process data. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information.
• Legal and Compliance. We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, subpoena, or court order, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
• Business Transfers. In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies (pixels, local storage) to operate our Services, remember your preferences, and gather analytics data. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings. Note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of certain features.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our Services. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, tax, or audit purposes.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and regular security assessments. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights (United States)

Depending on your state of residence, you may have the following rights under applicable state privacy laws (including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act, and similar state laws):

• Right to Know. You may request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
• Right to Delete. You may request that we delete your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
• Right to Correct. You may request that we correct inaccurate personal information.
• Right to Opt Out. You may opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We do not sell personal information.
• Right to Non-Discrimination. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the information in Section 12 below. We will respond to verifiable requests within 45 days.

9. Do Not Track

Our Services do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals. However, you can manage tracking preferences through cookie settings and the Google Analytics opt-out tool referenced in Section 4.

10. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 16, we will promptly delete it. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated policy on our website and updating the "Effective Date" at the top. Your continued use of the Services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
